If you visit Bali Island, you may go to take a bath at the twin-well sacred place. The water of the wells is able to wash all the bad luck or black magic. It is some kind of a ward off evil ritual.

The journey is rather challenging after you reach Sumbersari village. You need at least 10 minutes to pass through the woody area before you arrive at the destination. On the way, you will see Segera Rupek or Tirta Empul holy water temple. After that, there is the road sign which shows the way to the twin-well sacred place.

It is close to the beach and Tirta Empul holy water temple in Gilimanuk village. The locals usually go to the twin wells to wash their bad luck by taking a bath. Many timber thieves who lost their way and reached the temple became religious after taking a bath with the holy water.

According to the janitor, most people come to the sacred place to hope that they will be able to meet their soul mates by washing their faces and bodies with the water from the wells. Many of them do hope that they will make a lot of money after taking a holy bath.

The bathroom is divided into two parts, one is for lady and the other is for gentleman. Most of the visitors are women. Men go there only to seek gemstones, such as amethyst, emerald and ruby.

After taking a holy bath, the janitor will advise you to go home quickly. You should avoid chatting with others and don’t stay there too long. Otherwise, you will be asked to leave immediately because the janitor worries that you will stay forever and your life will completely depend on the alms given by others.
